How it works
The app runs in the background
Shitpost starts with Windows and waits in the taskbar. It only does something when a meme comes in.
A meme comes in
It shows up on the screen you picked, at the position and size you set.
You keep playing
The overlay is transparent and lets clicks through. The meme plays, your match goes on.
Set up to stay out of the way
- The screen of your choice if you have several.
- Position and size of incoming memes.
- Meme volume, set on your side.
- Do not disturb for important ranked games, meetings and streams.
Fullscreen or borderless windowed?
Shitpost shows memes in a transparent window that always stays on top. It works with games in windowed and borderless fullscreen mode, the default in most recent games.
If a game runs in exclusive fullscreen and memes don't show up, switch it to "borderless windowed" in its graphics settings.
